It's very difficult to tell how it's going to turn out with such little cladding on. I think it's fair to withhold judgment for now.

Based on that cladding it looks like this tower will be a more shapely version of Trump's Vegas tower, albeit with more orange-ish glass instead of gold.

what a pitty for this cladding

All IBC buildings have blue/green claddng colors which reflect the glacial color of russian climate.

Orange is good for Las Vegas not for Moscow

Anyway wait and see

I think it's a little bit cheap looking.. I'm not talking about the color but about the 'waves' in the glass. If you compare this with say, the Shard in London, this looks a bit like plastic. Oh and it's completly reflecting like a mirror which I also don't really like.

Oh god- this looks tacky, but I am a fan of towers that are different, so I will reserve judgement on this one!

In my experience since I joined this forum, in 99% of all cases the real cladding looks far better than it looks on renders. This, I'm afraid, is the remaining 1%. It looked bad on renders, but I thought like it is the case with most other projects it would turn out far better in real life, but the exact opposite is the case. Meh.

You people have no sense of style, this glass is amazing.

I would have died from boredom if it was another transparent blue/green glass.

It has the same color scheme as Russian Academy of Science

Also:

And also the color scheme of traditional russian architecture:

It's a great mix of traditional and futuristic that evokes very positive associations.

Thanks GammaHamster, for posting that very educational and beneficial information. Instead of the average, that's a great update posting, bullshit.

We don't know yet really, those "waves" in the glass may well be due to a protective plastic layer. Hell, it's not like they can't afford some Chinese cladding that looks perfect on any skyscraper in China and is very inexpensive at the same time.
