sixty years ago, upon the invitation of the Russian Red Cross, Princess Ashraf Pahlavi, twin sister of the Shah of Iran, went to see Stalin in order to demand the retrieval of Soviet invading forces from Iran. He said loudly to his rather stern entourage: "Now here is a brave and true patriot." Pravda, June 28, 1946.

I've always been fascinated with Persian culture, its food and society I guess thats one of the reason why I want to go there, to experience the real thing. When did Iran ease the veil for women, please enlighten me, do a lot of women still wear Chador?
I think it doesn't matter! because I belive racial problem can be surmounted by friendship ! and Iran isn't worse like Iraq.their country, their movie are developing. their woman is more free than other Arabian countries.maybe you don't know how deep-rooted that chinese hate japanese ! and my father's object is "Don't touch japanese forever",but I don't think so.we younger of both countries can understand easily each other .because we are so young so we aren't worldliness.
I have a long article about Iran ,if you are interested in it, leave your e-mail
,let me try to translate it and send to you.but I need much time ,because my English isn't very well

Thanks Northern Lotus. Yes it's a very different and cool place compared to what they make it look in the west.

Amazing city, though non-existent as a tourist destination. It’s really a pity because as far as I know form my limited contact with Iranians, they are very extrovert and easy to get along with. They don’t fit at all in the stereotypes the West has about Moslems.

I just saw Bacheha-Ye aseman yesterday for the first time - not only a very great movie but also a perfect insight of the different faces of the city!

Teheran looks really nice, but what I like the most are the people in the pictures most of them look just like models.
