Guys, pls don’t go overboard on each and every thing.Yes, we all personally know that Oracle has commenced operations, there are people amongst us also who are relocating to the Trivandrum Centre. If it is inadvertently missed out in the Oracle website, then we should do what is needed to make the name appear there

The second state data centre, set up with a cost of Rs 22.5 crore, at Technopark was inaugurated by IT and Industries Minister P K Kunhalikutty here on Tuesday. With this, Kerala has become the first state in the country to own two data centres. The new data centre will enable various state departments to host their services and applications, providing enhanced capacity to deal with the future e-governance activities of the state. Delivering the inaugural address, Kunhalikutty said that the new data centre would boost Government-to-Government (G-To-G) and Government-to-Citizen (G-to-C) initiatives in the state. He said that IT was one of the sector which had immense potential in the state. “Kerala has to go a long way on the IT front. In the neighbouring state such as Karnataka, it has reached a saturation point and the IT companies are looking at Kerala for investment and the state should reap the maximum out of it.. Source : EB
