As ppl say, too packed, and also I think it's way to far from everything, I would find it damn boring to live out there. Maybe cos I dont find the ocean that interesting really, it's just water

And for those who describes Dubai as "incomparable to any other city" you have definatly not been much around have you? True they got alot tall buildings, this could be build anywhere in the world. But do they have those amazing views? nothing, they got the desert, and that's about it. Go to Las Vegas and you will find the same, just prettier

lol if that's what you find a beautiful view, really you need to get out and see the world. Talking about natural wonders of the world, not the ugly things men comes up with. For me, I just see alot of sand and water

Did they solve the problem with their algae? On the pictures posted earlier there are still large greenish areas left. They better solve this problem before move in date or nobody 'd like to live there (next to stinky water) .

many people would like to live there; thats why the villas there have reached premiums of 100%+ and its not too packed. sure some villas are close to each other but whats the problem with that? also, how is it afr away from everything? have you ever been to dubai to say where it is. its part of the new city.

Nice pictures. Now what is that house in that green area at the top of the picture and who the hell lives there? That piece of real estate looks awesome.

Comparing Dubai to Las Vegas is comparing a broken left leg to a broken right leg if you get my meaning.

Lets break down how similar these two cities are:

-Both are tacky (Dubai more so)

-Both have a main street with towers on it (Dubai has the SZR, Vegas has the Strip)

-Both are near large bodies of water (Dubai has the Persian Gulf, Vegas has Lake Mead)

-Both are in a desert. Dubai's desert is a sea of sand while Vegas' desert is rocky.

-Both are cities I wouldn't dream of living in.

-Both cities are cities I would love to visit.

-Both cities are tourist destanations

-Both cities are hot.

-Both cities are blessed for their location in the world.

Dubai

Las Vegas

It would be interesting if they built casinos in Dubai. If you want to gamble around the world you could visit Las Vegas, Macau, Atlantic City or Dubai. Does Dubai have any casinos? To the best of my knowledge there aren't any there.
