I just noticed that after I posted info about Palm Jumeirah on a forum at RV.net it had Ads by Google like the ones on this forum with links to Dubai properties.

that is how google ad's work. search for words or phrases on the site and post relevant ads then.

No, I wouldn't want to live there... too much like suburbia. Yes, its on a beach... but way too much like suburbia.

For some reason the houses look a little bland, is it because they're not fully finished yet? It looks like something is missing even though they do look nice. |

I was impressed by this pic posted in Dubai forum showing the Monorail progress on the Palm. All credits to Goss.

i love the contrast of the modern monorail and the canal cove town homes that have that old arabian architecture, question though can they plant dates palms underneath the monorail (since the track goes streches the entire length of the island i hope they are able to plant underneath it to make the 'The Palm' have palms lol)

What the hell is this? A mobilephone signal disguised as a tree?
Anyway those were some really nice pictures! Love to see all details altough I'm a bit disappointed. But I think it will look a lot better when all is completed and alive. Btw does anyone know if they already started construction on the Trump building? |
