Your avatar just made me realize how 7 is the opposite of the Twins. They were, by contrast, made of glassy open bases and had bunker-looking structures on top.

Too bad I never had the oportunity to see them. But yes, from my avatar it does look as if the WTC's bases were big and open but above that they look almost like bars on a jail cell, enclosing prisoners.

Aww man you missed out. Looking up at them from the plaza was perhaps the most amazing sight the city had to offer.

This tower opens tomorrow! From the cam, it looks like they are putting the final touches on the building.

Does anyone have pics from the interior or the triangular plaza??????
------------------------------------------------------------------

And if someone knows if the reported height of the freedom tower 1776 feet is a fake data and the building is been designed to be taller than 1776 feet.It could be like by the Burj Dubai with the "really height" of the building.

It's nothing exceptional but it looks clean and classy. I like the fact that it is almost all glass covered, it looks modern.

Criticize all you want, just don't dare say something bad about a toronto scraper, the forum will flood with people saying "TROLL!"

Great news!

MOODY'S EYES 7 WTC DIGS

By LOIS WEISS
May 26, 2006

Moody's Investors Service is taking a hard look at moving and expanding to 500,000 feet in Larry Silverstein's brand new 7 World Trade Center.

"We're a growing company and looking at a number of options and 7 World Trade Center is one of those options," a spokeswoman confirmed.

Sources told The Post Moody's, currently housed in 99 Church St., with 340,000 feet spread over 11 floors, is being repped by Cushman & Wakefield.

"We need more space, Silverstein needs an anchor," said a Moody's source.

The possible move was first reported in Real Estate Weekly.
