Just a cheap copy of our approved Libeskind Tower in Warsaw

No, seriously, a very nice project you got there, chaps!

I don't think this tower has much chance of being built, at least not in its current form. You can just guarantee the local NIMBY's will force a height reduction or even block it completely. I give this project about a 5% chance of approval.

Unless of course the developer wants it enough to go to Ken or who ever

230m? I thought it was like 160m or something! That will make it London's 4th tallest proposal!

The tower would be amazing, and it's above 200 meters

Yeah, I thought it was 160-165m.

Where precisely does it say that it's 230m?

On the architects site

"Glengall Bridge is a mixed use high density development on the isle of dogs providing a mix of social and private, residential, educational commercial and cultural uses for both established and emerging communities within the area. The development creates a new focal point for the island with the construction of a stunning 230m high tower and a new urban square"

YAY!

It makes it look so much better having all the water around. If they managed to get some greenery round there too (obviously assuming it is ever built) it would look awesome.

There is already some nice greenery on the Isle of Dogs.

This development would stand virtually opposite Mudchute Park and Farm (yes folks, there is a farm just a few hundred metres from a major financial district!).

That's London

This tower would dominate the skyline when viewed from Greenwich Park.

That's partly why I doubt it will go ahead.
