London's skyline is growing more impressive by the day.

I don't think this tower has much chance of being built, at least not in its current form. You can just guarantee the local NIMBY's will force a height reduction or even block it completely. I give this project about a 5% chance of approval.
I fffing hate Nimbys. Do you know what I hate about them and their moaning the most ? Well theres a good example of NIMBYS here in Plymouth. There is a derelict resevoir in the middle of the city, just by the University on North hill. It is totally obscured, totally useless and dirty. However the local Nimbys have stopped a major new University and city entertainment complex being built there (which plymouth fffing needs). I can list so many more examples.

Where was I? Oh sorry what gets me the most about Nimbys is when any building that they try to block and fail is finnally built they go quiet, get on with their lives and realise that actually it made no impact or differnce on their lives at all and actually they quite like it !!!!!!!!!!! dickheads.

An interesting and beautiful tower, I really hope it does get built, it would benefit the skyline so much. We can dream at least...

I like the design apart from the fact that it seems to bulge outwards. It has a playful look to it.

The fact that designs similar to that are being constructed is no surprise. It is becoming a common design. I saw a design of a much smaller building proposed for the World Trade Center site in NY. The rugged, broken glass/ smashed ice look is becoming popular among ultra modern designs.

Is it my imagination or is this missing a certain citigroup building? Not that it has anything to do with the thread.
