Wow, this is really incredible. I'm sorry, but Ghery is a genius. I just hope it doesn't clash toooo much with the art deco towers. Perhaps it might have been better in an emerging city elsewhere in the US. It does have quite a "californian" feel, like most of Ghery's work.

I like it. If its built i hope it isnt that puke green color though.
Kinda reminds me of something that would be built in Dubai.

Cool! Build it!

It has a typical Gehry design that reminds of his former works.

I know this for a while, but this tower is great!

It's also great, that the building comes next to the WTC complex!

looks pretty decent to me. I imagined a much bulkier and busier design. This ones somewhat thin and sleek.

shows alot of similarities with one of the proposals for the ny times tower.. And the name beekman sounds Dutch, is there some Dutch history there?

Although it's modern and futuristic, i don't like it. Looks like a melted piece of shit. NYC is so different from other major cities because of old artdeco buildings, cast iron buildings and box buildings. That's what i love about NYC. And all of sudden these dubai-like buildings are poppin up in all of manhattan. Lower Manhattan is probably the worst place to put these buildings. LM needs art deco! Not this shit!!!!

Just take a look at the title of the thread.

I like it, but it is a bit weird design.

It will be built but not the one you see. That is an old render, the design has been changed.
