I do like the first 3 on the top. Very beautiful buildings. What ever happened after that is my guess.

Ugly. I never liked any Gehry, this one's no exception. But I have to admit, for a Gehry, this one's better than the others. But still that's no reason to build it.

Does he get all his inspiration from scrap metal yard?

Fascinating building. Will create a nice contrast with the older buildings in that area. New York should embrace it and keep an open mind about its unique looks.

I would like to see it refined just a bit more, but I still think a contrast would be great from Manhattan, Midtown is starting to see it, Downtown along with Ground Zero will see it, it will in general open up some new things as far as highrises are concerned and I think that's exciting. This design, I don't hate, but would like to see it a bit more refined to be more "New York".

No news is bad news...or in this case good news, bc I hate this tower. Nothing against weird architecture, but this would block the front view of Woolworth (#1 scraper all time) Anyway, this seems like an 80 South Street type project (another cool tower I'm against for loaction reasons) It will die hard...but expire nonetheless.

Seriously..is all you are doing is bumping old threads just to ask about their status? You will know along with everyone else will know when news of any buildings status changes. So calm down.

I stated before that it is my intention to bump up old threads. This is a major project and it was buried on out on page 9 or something. No posts in 2 months...somebody must have something. This is just a reminder. Sorry to to offend.
