Raptis ANA Tower - Gold Coast Australia: 65 levels, 208m to roof/243m to spire.

A new tower proposed for Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast in Australia!

It's a residential/hotel tower 208m to roof, 243m to spire. Designed by the Buchan Architects who designed Vision tower in Brisbane.

Tower is all glass, factoid of the day: 65 percent more water and energy efficient than Q1.

The name is temp, the official name isn't out yet btw.

the 61m/200ft spire is a feature and was added to mimic the 100m higher spire of nearby Q1! sort of a ying yang, lets soar above the beaches and give the coast an impressive skyline. lol

I suspect it might have something to do with the constant harsh sunlight.

It's interesting and the curvature is cool. Looking forward to hearing more about it.

What do you mean constant harsh sunlight? We get as much sunlight and heat as any other country.

I guess it's just a design that suits the GC. And I love this building, I hope GC builds more buildings in the near future.
