The 1st setback of Trump occurs to the roof of level-17, the 2nd to roof of level-28 & the 3rd to roof of level-51 (See the 3 points below after next quote).

The structural heights of...

1) The Wrigley Building = 134m/440ft to top of clock tower, but to main block's roof = 117m/384ft

2) The Marina Towers = 179m/587ft &

3) The IBM Building = 212m/695ft

So you are correct ChgoLvr83

Quote on the Trump Tower from emporis.com: "Setbacks at three levels are designed to give the tower a visual continuity with its surroundings by matching the heights of the Wrigley Building's main block, the twin towers of Marina City, and the IBM Building."

Yeah, I was sure about the first setback, unsure about the second setback, and had no clue about the the third.

Either way, thanks for the info.

If you guys ever get confused to which side things are happening. Just reference it to the Chicago River, it makes it alot easier.

due to the first setback:

This tower's gunna be more impressive than I first thought. I love the glass on the facade. If they continue this all the way, up will be a gem.
