New 6-floor office building is U/C. It will be built next to Emajõe Business center. I do like it.

On the place where garages were? In front of Triip printhouse? Next to market? Very nice indeed.

OK, so the street we see in the rendering should be Kaluri (Fisherman) street toward which one might get at last to Zeppelin.

Southern part of Tartu ringroad will be under reconstruction at the end of 2009 and construction may take several years because it is impossible to shut down the southern section at once. An existing roadsection from Ilmatsalu traffic circle to Uhti traffic circle will be turned into 2+2 first class road with separated junctions and 3 tunnels(one under Viljandi road traffic circle, one under Riga traffic circle and the third under Tartu-Orava railroad)along the section. Preproject is done already.

Renderings below

1. Below this bridge is the future Rail Baltica:

2. Riga traffic circle

3. Riga intersection when coming from Tallinn

4. And Riga traffic circle from the air.

I had some more renders, but since they changed the plan a bit, they're not accurate any more.(at first they planned to make only half of the section's length 2+2 lanes)

Construction works of Tehvandi K90 Ski jumping complex in Otepää(43km from Tartu) ended in december the 19th. This has to be the biggest ski jumping tower in baltics if I'm not wrong(and its K90 size is something that scandinavian guys would definitely laugh at). Random pics from last summer:

It just shows the proportions of the building. I'm pretty sure it won't be built like that, if it gets built at all though.
