People have been comparing them in this forum for ages because they started construction at the same time and they want to see which one is making better progress.

When you think about it ,Dubai should always be in the lead anyway, cause they build 24/7.

I thought they built 24/7 in China aswell?

Also, work seems to be fairly minimal on Fridays in Dubai.

I love the SWFC, I actually like the new crown now, I didnt before. I would say it is more than a match for the BD, no matter of the height. In my opinion anyway.

Ummm, in order to colonize Mars and visit Jupiter we should first get to the moon, and we DID NOT do it yet.

Are those diagonal metal bars that run through the SWFC going to stay there after the building is completed, or are they just structural supports for the building state and they going to remove them after they're finished?

^ those are the main super structure supports. it would be bad if they were removed. lol. you wont see them behind the glass facade anyway.

Anyone know anything about the new building on the foreshore in the middle of the rendering? I've never seen anything to do with the blocks opposite the superbrand mall before. It looks like it would be a pretty major project.

Huh, I think that's the Bank of America Tower in Texas. It can't possibly be a design proposal for Shanghai, unless it's "in" to copy other designs.
