Let's just say I've recently acquired the heights of the towers around Freedom Tower from a talking bird. Try not to take it too seriously.

WTC Tower Two - 1,354 feet tall to its roof
WTC Tower Three - 1,100-1,200 (not sure) plus antennae
WTC Tower Four - 924 feet tall

Thanks for the height info btw.

Impressive heights to say the least. Although the 924 is a bit of a surprise.

924 shouldn't be a surprise, it's in the 900-1,000 foot range.

If tower 2 is indeed that tall then we're looking at a twin tower presence.....and then some. Also, interesting that you say Tower 3 will have a spire. Why 3, and how big? A spire just doesn't sound like something Richard Rogers would use.

Anyway hopefully September 20 is still the big unveiling day. If they were smart they'd do it on 9/11.

nothin wrong with extra time. I figured all 3 towers would be at least 1,000 feet.

It does give a twin tower appearance nonetheless.

1,368 with 1,354, its a matter of 14 feet. the difference between the old 2 towers was 6 feet. could anybody tell? no way. hopefully the design compliments the FT, or is somewhat similar. things seem to be shaping up better than we think. we still have to wait on the official word but ill take what i can get from lecom and ebola. Its heading in the right direction.

Trust me, there will be no twin tower presence because T2 will look nothing like T1. But the spacing between the two makes for an amazing addition to the skyline.

True, if it looks like vengineer's drawing it will have a sloped roof. The peak would be near the FT height, but the bottom of the roof would be significantly lower than FT. Depends on the angle you'd be looking at it.

Where are you getting the info ebola?

So do you think this building will rise relatively fast or will it be slow?

Those beams are from what's left of the garage.

^They won't tear down those beams.

Half an hour earlier; many new rebar cages added

Cages are doing double duty as jail cells

Shame they closed off the east wing of the pedestrian bridge, the one from where it was much easier to take construction shots

The PATH trains run under what's left of the garage. They've pretty much carved away everything except what covers the tracks. I believe they are leaving most of what is there. There are small parts they will be demolishing though as evidenced in this picture...note the words "slab to be demolished" spray painted on the concrete.

Let's assume that I saw the blueprints, in, well, doesn't matter where, but they indicate that these are staying.

On the webcam I can seen some trucks with blue cabs going in and out of the site. They look like cement mixer trucks.
