But here's something else.

At a news conference concerning 200 Greenwich Street on Dec. 15, Mr. Silverstein was asked whether the building would follow the design guidelines. He replied that it would follow the master site plan; a different document that lays out building locations and footprints. And he added, "Rooftops are not part of a master site plan."

BTW, there's nothing on top of Tower 3.

So were looking at no spires or antennas on any of the remaining 4 towers?

Last I heard it wasnt, that article is from March, and that the tower developer was out, meaning no Fordham name.

oh please lets not start that "our building is taller" crap. all three (that includes 2WTC) are great buildings. i hope they are all built, and btw finding out the 2WTC will be that tall is great news, because in a way it feels like we are getting the twin towers back ( except these 2 have seperate designs, but hey at least they will be 2 amazingly tall towers)

I heard it wasnt getting built, and then it was, and then it isnt again so whatever, I could really care less. Whats important to me is whats going on in my town. The WTC redevelopment, which it appears will be better than ever.

Lets not forget folks, theres still 3 more towers going up on the site besides 1 and 2 WTC.

So essentially, were not only getting what was there before, but alot more. I cant argue with that, I miss the old WTC, but these designs and proposals are ******* great. I like where its going, and we'll know EVERYTHING come 9/20.

With all that's being built at the WTC site, will this be the largest World Trade Center complex in the world?

I thought it was even when the old site was built. It is THE World Trade Center known around the world, even though there are tons of them. To some because of its financial might, but sadly to most because of 9/11.

im sure it will be, with ease.

Im very much liking this proposal. I prefer this to simply rebuilding the twins. I love the way it looks in the renders, like one massive dense core rising up.
