Very original, especially toward the top. I disliked it at first glance, but the more you look at it the more it "sells" itself to you. Also, its position on the skyline reminds me of Sears Tower in Chicago.

8/10

Impressive tower, but the design is a little bit overdone IMO 8,5/10

I'm going to give Eureka 9/10. My little nitpicks are that the shape of the top section can look a little arkward at some angles, the gold glass can look dirty brown from some angles (apparentely - well the camera doesn't lie right?). I also think the balconies on the sides are a little dissapointing and also, residents...keep your windows closed dammit! But I know it's a resi so what are you gunna do?

Having said that I AM giving it 9. It is truely one of the most amazing skyscrapers on Earth - entirely unique yet not exhibitionist, with the gold glass it's most outstanding feature (well when it doesn't look brown). I'm sure it'll be a stunning icon for Melbourne for the next, what was it, 400 years??

This isn't a bad bldg at all but, everything considered, does it really deserve a 10? The base alone should drop it down a point or so. It is, in fact, part of the structrue and should be judged accordingly. If this is a 10, then what should Chrysler/ESB/BOC/Hancock be rated? It's all relative but shouldn't the top spot be reserved for really really great skyscrapers?

hmmmmmmmmm... not sure about this one. It certainly is a great building, but I cant help but feel it looks a bit tacky in places. 8.5. Not bad at all.
