that huge panoramic pictures from last page is very interesting. It looks to me like if it was that scene from Inception O.o

I believe they have started to cover the steel column segment on the right of the above picture with cladding?

Exactly.

It seems like they have also started to build a roof structure over the Building and Maintenance Units...

I guess the tower will looks something like the below link ( that was posted here before):

This building is fantastic. I guess they all can't be architectural statements as such.

I bet they will clad the corner poles and also cover the strings with metal bars like the ones below.

Never used so many picture things in one comment...

those pieces of hanging cladding were sitting on the top floor for more than a month now ready to be installed.

now everything makes sense: the horizontal and vertical lines thin out in three stages creating the infinity illusion.

great to see how many people started bashing the tower before it's even finished...

Would you have expected otherwise? .... but no worries, they will return with something else, even if repeat of what was deleted once or twice

easy to state that now...but in dubai anything can be expected when it comes to construction business...

There is a place called Palm deira, and no trace of any palm around....another metro station is called Nakheel harbour and Tower and yet none of those is to be seen...

further up in the desert you have a gigantic Universal Studio gate entrance....where is the Park ???

so an Infinity Tower with a rushed up crown could certainly have been an option here....

So true But thankfully there are few projects like the infinity in dubai to which execution I have no objection.

It's a bit strange though they started installation of those final panels after removal of all scaffolding. Usual routine in the tallest block is that when scaffolding is gone the crown is complete but apparently here different method is used. But anyways as long as all panels are in place I honestly don't care how they got there

....

what?!

are we saying that the construction of palm deira can be compared to installing these lousy few final pieces of cladding on this tower here?

last week my gardener called to tell me my little pond can't be done this week because he had to go and finish arabian canal first. good point
