Take a very close look at Imre's close-ups of the cladding around the windows. See how the cladding actually covers the irregular shape of the windows to make them appear as though each window is actually a rectangle. And, look at how the cladding is set a few inches away for the windows and has slits in it so that some of the light can still shine through the covered window margins. Very cool!

That irregular shape of each window will only be noticeable from the inside. Nice touch!

I hadn't noticed the cladding around those windows until you mentioned it. Here's a snippet of Imre's photo:

In early models and renders (from the fist page of this thread) the windows appear to be of varying width and different from floor to floor, making for a randomized pattern:

I kinda like the random look.

The render Malec posted on page two appears to be closer to what we're actually seeing:

The above render makes some windows appear to be open or missing, especially near the top. Perhaps those are suppose to be recessed balconies?

Scrolling up and down on the long render is so sexy...

Shouldn't the core be rising soon?

I know their have been other twisting towers built, but they were much shorter. I wonder how the architects and engineers line up all the plumbing, electrical lines, etc on such a tall tower.

Just like any other tower, only with a little more horizontal pipes. Nothing special I suppose.

All this MEP stuff will be in shafts in the core... which ist straight. So no problem here. I'm rather wondering about the construction elevators...

Yes, indeed! I would say put them in one of the elevator shafts, would work great I guess.

maybe they start at one corner on the bottom, and end up in another corner at the top? lol, i guess that wouldn't really work...

Well......isn't the middle core area stay the same? If so, I would guess the elevators would be located at the core. The turning is done toward the outside. I am just guessing but I do not see how an elevator could ever move other than straight vertical.

This sounds like a pretty difficult structure to build. But it is already rising, so apperently, they must have already figured out the details. Maybe there won't even be elevators- just a spiral staircase around the core of the building!HaHaHa! Just Kidding.

Why are you guys discussing the location of the elevators? Is there really any need for it?
