About 4 floors in 18 days, great!! If it progresses in the current speed it may reach the final floor by the end of May!

Yeah, nice progress on a nice thread.

And last pic shows lv45 repeating the core opening pattern that has been introduced on lv44. So I think lv43 is the only technical floor here, with different partitioning of apartments and/or elevators above and below.

Core change

The changes in the openings in the core are to allow for duplex flats in the higher floors which only have access to the lift lobby on alternate floors.

Sorry, but I think the cladding looks kind of cheap, I imagined something nicer for such a beautiful tower, I mean those louvers..., anyway, maybe from a distance you wont notice but those close ups.. and from the inside... I can only imagine.

There's nothing to notice from the inside ... as for the outside, I haven't stayed next to the tower in a long long time so I can't say how much of that is really there and how much is due to the ND filter Imre uses with his lenses.

Somehow it looks less twisted than what I would have expected

The floor plates are only half way done, so what do you expect?

Yes but I can mentally build the rest of the building... it's just an impression anyway

We knew from the beginning that it would have a 90° twist. It's half done by now so it has a 45° twist. I don't get which part seems unexpected to you.

Hey there, R1984. I agree. Close up they look kind-of cheap, but I think they'll look great from a distance ... especially at night.

AltinD, Take a closer look at Imre's pic below and compare the shape of the "cladded" windows to the shape of the windows higher up on the building that haven't yet been cladded around. You'll notice that the shape of those uncladded windows are rarely a true rectangle. See how the cladding covers up some of the window to make each one appear as a rectangle? The cladding actually covers up some of the window, but you can also see that the cladding that covers part of the windows is a bit of a distance from the window and the slivers allow a bit of light to still penetrate through the cladding to the window behind.

I'm kind-of digging it, but at the same time I have to agree with R1984 that it may not be so cool from inside. You know what I mean?

Bender, I too wish it did twist more than 90 degrees, but I think in the end the twist will really make an impact and it'll be totally cool.

Steve, we are talking of different things, but I do agree with you that there is a matching problem as you mentioned ... however that has to be expected somehoe considering the shape of the building.

just as i saw the initial photos of the construction site and where it was located I said to myself "that's awfully close to the water, a wall could collapse very easily"...I then googles Infinity Tower too look at floor plans and Wiki stated said thought. crazy.

very nice! love the units
