I visited the shopping center.. Well it is not promising in architecture but the shops are pretty big, halls are huge and illuminated very well. That I didn't like old part after visiting the new, those large halls of migros seemed too narrow to me, although I believe old part is classier.

Btw, Ankamall is the BIGGEST SHOPPING CENTER of Turkey regarding the number of shops. Migros took its crown again.

Yes there is an underground autopark, totally making 6500 capacity. I guess it is the biggest of Turkey.

That little tower will be a hotel.

Cevahir-Istanbul

356,000m2 total cons. area
107,000m2 rentable area
280 shops
2500 capacity autopark

AnkaMall-Ankara

302,000m2 total cons.
105,000m2 rentable
300+ shops
6000 capacity autopark

Ankamall is smaller in size of total construction but has greater number of shops, and autopark capacity. Both have similar rentable space. Saying it is the biggest in every aspect would be wrong.

There is also fairground around or inside the complex? What for is the hotel mainly? Since I don't know Ankara well these kind of question marks appeared in my mind.. Is this hotel exactly for visitors of the complex mainly? Fair, concerts, events' .. bring people here and they stay in this hotel kind of.. And how many stars for this hotel?

Cheers,
CityZen the Curious
