are you serious? WTC are built mostly by countries which are part of the World Trade Organization...each member country should have at least one World Trade Center...

World Trade Center in Bangkok have gone out of business.
It's now turning into Central World Plaza.

They weren't destroyed, but they were damaged, and here is what I found about it.

"The first attack occured when a suicide bomber rammed an explosives-laden truck into the Sri Lankan Central Bank, heavily damaging the neighboring towers. On October 15, 1997, three days after the towers were repaired and re-opened, a truck filled with 880 pounds of explosives detonated almost directly under the West Tower, destroying a large section, as well as part of the East Tower and two hotels."

The federation website doesn't say anything about an affiliation with the WTO.

"The WTCA was established in 1970 to facilitate international trade by bringing those together exporters, importers and service providers. The first seeds of the international movement were sown in 1970 when the pioneer World Trade centers- Houston, New Orleans, New York and Tokyo and a number of World Trade center enthusiasts first organized a World Trade Centers Association."

It's my favourite from all posted. Then comes Mexico City's WTC (cause it's huge, the largest at this time). But no one like NYC's WTC. Only the WTC Manama can compete with it, in my opinion.

P.D. Are those helixes in the World Trade Center Bahrain, or mills, or just an adornment without any function???

World Trade and Convention Centre, Halifax (1984). It's pretty small and they're currently looking to expand or replace it.

Would you laugh if I told you that Toronto's World Trade Centre shaped out to be just condominium residential towers?

Oh well, a photo anyway:

World Trade Centers in Germany

Bremen (population: ca.550.000):

Dresden (population: ca. 490.000):

Frankfurt (Oder) (population: ca. 63.000):

Hannover (population: ca. 520.000):

Kln (Cologne, population: ca. 1 million):

Germany's 3 biggest municipalities (Berlin, Hamburg, Munich) and the financial centre (Frankfurt/Main) don't have a WTC building.
