Fujairah's tallest tower to use Tabreed's services

Tabreed, the National Central Cooling Co. (PJSC) and Al Jaber Group have announced today that they have signed a mutual agreement where Tabreed will supply cooling to Fujairah's Tallest Tower, which is being developed by Al Jaber Group.

Al Jaber Tower is a state-of-the-art development that is being built in Fujairah's downtown, on Sh. Hamad Street. The 43-storey tower will reach a height of 170 meters and is comprised of 270 apartments, commercial shops and showrooms. The tower which is being built by Al Jaber Contracting and was designed by Al Diwan Engineering and Consulting will benefit from using the unique solutions of district cooling provided by Tabreed.

Mr. Obaid Al Jaber Chairman of al Jaber groups said: 'The Emirate of Fujariah has been witnessing a boom in the real estate and economic development sectors and we are certain that this distinctive tower will help add quality and class to the real estate market in Fujairah. What we are aiming at is to provide a superior service to our tenants, thus, our choice of using Tabreed's outstanding cooling services, as the company has an impeccable service history and high quality techniques.'

Mohamed Al Qamzi, Tabreed's Chief Operating Officer, was delighted with this mutual cooperation and commented: 'We are proud to have been chosen by Al Jaber Group to provide them with our services and we are certain that this project will open the doors to more opportunities and developments in the city of Fujairah. Tabreed has proven its leadership in the district cooling market and it is very obvious that our services are in high demand.'

Furthermore, the Government of Fujairah has recently granted Tabreed a strategic land in a prime location on Sh. Hamad Street to develop a district cooling scheme that will serve the Al Jaber Tower as well as any new developments on that street. This can be considered a proof of acknowledgment of Tabreed's important role in protecting the environment and reducing power consumption.

District cooling is widely used throughout the UAE and around the world, piping chilled water from a centralised plant to a range of residential, commercial and government buildings. Landlords are attracted to the maintenance-free, economic and environmentally friendly cooling benefits of the technology, while tenants enjoy reduced ambient noise and better temperature control in their homes, making it the perfect solution to all cooling requirements.

In the past three months, construction started on more than 6 towers. I am also quite sure that there's a tower taller than this one, which is u/c right not but i need to double check that. You can't find any info on the net about the stuff happening in Fujairah, which sucks!

Now that I see that render D-L posted, I remember seeing it somewhere before too, can't remember where though. Nevertheless, crazyeight we are depending on you to provide us Fujairah updates. Good luck.

P.S... Any construction images would be highly appreciated

Tabreed wins order from tallest tower being built in Fujairah

Staff Report

Dubai :
National Central Cooling Co (Tabreed) has signed an agreement with UAE-based Al Jaber Group to undertake the cooling systems for Fujairah's tallest tower, a press statement said.

Tabreed is UAE's leading district cooling service provider.

Al Jaber Tower is being built in Fujairah's downtown area, the statement said. The 43-storey tower will reach a height of 170 metres and comprise 270 apartments, commercial shops and showrooms.

The tower is being built by Al Jaber Contracting and was designed by Al Diwan Engineering and Consulting.

Obaid Al Jaber, chairman of Al Jaber Group, said: "Fujairah has been witnessing a boom in the real estate and economic development sectors and we are certain that this distinctive tower will help add quality and class to the real estate market in Fujairah."

The Fujairah Government has recently granted Tabreed a strategic plot in a prime location to develop a district cooling scheme that will serve the Al Jaber Tower.
