Here's a fun little trick you can all try at home:

1: Open your favorite internet browser and go to the address:
babelfish.altavista.com

2: From the drop down menu, choose "English to Russian"

3: In the box enter the words:
sky tower

4: Sure enough, the result is "башня неба"

Did you really think no one would notice, Sky? Remember when you yelled at Megatower for making a new account after he got banned? Quit trying to pretend to be someone you aren't. If you would just cut out the lies, you could be one of the best contributors to this forum.

I'm really curious how that area will look like in, lets say, 6 months... Would constructing be started by that time?

i hope so
i mean, that massive circle plot has been there for like AGES!!
and still no sign of progress. I really hope for BB and dubai creek to start taking shape soon or at least begin to take shape soon, cause all this revisiting to these threads just to see no progress, is getting really annoying

Simply amazing! Its evident because the hole site of the "Burj Dubai" (shopping mall end surroundings) is leading step by step to its end. The most work is ready there. Most of the workers can now move to the "business bay" near the Burj site or something else.

WOW, what an original design. I like it a lot. But how in the world can you build such a building. Me and my childish imagination are already imagining everyone in the top that runs to the side leaning out, and seeing the building tip over...

im indifferent on these
they look kinda awkward
people might be afraid to move into buildings that are bent at the middle
and i dont know how the elevators would work
but, it is still a very neat and interesting design

So the core is straight then, i was figuring out how that would be the case considering the tower's unusual shape. That'll mean people will come out towards different sides of the elevators from the bottom to the upper floors. Thanks Cul.

Some pics...

Conclusion: Crazy stuff, i wonder in one tower iff the elevator will work. Look in the last pic end pic two. I think its optical illusion.
