Kish IT Tower offers an environment conducive to IT business.
In a building with 3000 square meters of office space, fast Internet connection, business hall, conference rooms and cafeteria you find many of the local businesses and major national companies interacting.
All local tenders for Kish Island ICT projects are carried out in the Tower, and are open to companies registered with the Kish IT tower.

Building is home to Kish's WAN (Wireless Area Network), with 10 access points throughout Kish offering 24mb/s

Its been constructed under the same style some buildings were built on Kish back in the '70s like Hotel Shayan and the casino, but its sleeker imo with a very nice interior

Attended by Eng. Hossein Nasiri, Advisor to the President and Secretary of the High Council of Free Zones and Dr. Hossein Ghassemi, Chairman and Managing Director of Kish Free Zone Organization, Kish IT Tower and the first International ICT Incubator inaugurated on the Island.

Eng. Nasiri, Secretary of the High Council of Free Zones in the inauguration ceremony of Kish IT Tower said: Vast communication network in the future will change the world but backwardness in this speedy movement will create difficulties for our country.

Advisor to the president stated: Therefore; developing IT from Kish as a pilot started and today Kish Island has registered a new experience.
Secretary of the High Council of Free Zones added: playing leading role in industry, creating job opportunity, preventing brain drain, paving the way to make relations with Iranian expatriates, creating a new field towards development of the country and revitalizing the Persian language are among roles of information technology.

Meanwhile, Dr. Hossein Ghassemi, Chairman and Managing Director of Kish Free Zone Organization said: Inauguration of the first International ICT Incubator of Iran makes domestic and international development of our country in IT field aimful so that in addition to creating a software movement, successful achievements will be transtferred to the mainland.

He added: Selecting Kish as the national IT pilot will lead to cost reduction, focus on operation of preliminary projects, completion of national plans, coordination among active centers in IT field, formation of specialized and research IT centers and presence in global markets.

He mentioned strategic location, technical and telecommunication modern infrastructures, port and airport facilities, being fully developed compared to the mainland, legal and operational infrastructures, formation of different bourses, activities of foreign banks, private insurances and local and international universities among the privileges of Kish Free Zone which reveals the capabilities of this Island to be turned into a national IT pilot.
Reza Veyseh, CEO of Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO) in the inauguration ceremony of Kish IT Tower said: Strategic location, no burden bureaucracy and few decision making organizations involved, existence of technical and telecommunication advanced infrastructures also existence of legal and executive infrastructures and being a well developed Island made this Free Zone a suitable place to be considered as the national IT pilot.

He added: Kish is the heart of (IDRO) in making Tehran ICT Park and Shiraz IT Tower which are on the agenda to be constructed at a total cost of 16 billion tomans.

Kish IT center is in a four-story building with 2750 square meters area and situated in one of the business areas of the Island adjacent to the banks. This Center has 36 offices and meeting and conference halls.
Kish IT Tower put into operation in collaboration between Kish Free Zone Organization and (IDRO) and right from the start, 10 domestic and international companies active in ICT field were based in it.
