Today, I read Seattle Times Newspaper that Sonic owner, Clay Bennett selected Renton site for new Sonic/Storms arena. I wonder if anyone has rendering for that new arena yet?

I agree! That's why I moved to Seattle! I have travelled across the nation to compare cities for me to live in. No US city can beats Seattle. Seattle has many things to offer. That's why I chose Seattle to live in.

I already saw it on Seattle Time Newspaper a few days ago. I am not impressed with that design. Two things I don't want to spend my tax money on that area and I was expecting that new arena to be badass one like Staples Center in Los Angeles that my cousin helped design that arena with her firm. That new arena in Renton is huge waste! I never like the idea of having an arena or stadium in the suburbs. They belongs to inner core cities.

You can move West 8th, 818 Stewart, Rollin Street, and Vue Hanover over to U/C.

That is pretty damn impressive to page through. We're up to what, 35 high-rises u-c? Not bad for a metro that traditionally hasn't been as high-rise oriented as some others.

Reminds me of Sydney - lots and lots of low to medium rise always being built. Most residential too.

Ah, my hometown. It's great that they are working on so many great projects. They could definately use some supertalls though. I miss Seattle so much, as soon as I can I'm moving back there no questions asked.

You're absolutely right. I lived in Seattle for the first 10 years of my life, I've gone back there multiple times since because I can't stay away from it, I need to move back there, but I'm too broke which sucks.

The best city ever. It's home.

Haha! You're not alone on this... I know some people who left Seattle are more likely end up moved back to Seattle. I don't think I would leave Seattle for another 5 years. I still loving Seattle so much! Seattle rocks!!!!!!

Cheers bro.

I love the place so much, it's almost depressing that I now live in the woods of Oregon instead of the metro of Seattle.

In fact, it IS depressing. I need to get back there soon!

I liked the rendering of 2nd & Pike. It would bring some diversity downtown in architecture. I think some of our new projects are really cool, but Seattle continues to be conservative in it's architecture, which baffles me... a city that as known as very liberal in all other aspects. Does anyone have any ideas on this?
P.S. I too love Seattle and will never leave again. I did move back to the East coast for a couple of years and I pined for Seattle the whole time.
