Tamdeen New HQ’s, Sharq – Kuwait
Tamdeen’s Tower is a 14 story office building that Tamdeen will occupy its first eight floors and lease the upper six floors.
The design associate is DAR AL-OMRAN who has brilliantly created a unique image expressive of Tamdeen’s culture despite the small site area of 706 m2.

The building from outside is culturally relevant yet high-tech from inside where new interior design concepts and finishes were introduced for the first time in the Middle East.
State-of-the-art multimedia, data and telecommunication systems are used and the building MEP systems are at the cutting edge of technology providing comfort and convenience to the users and full flexibility through the accessible raised floor.

Al-Mal Office Tower, Sharq – Kuwait
01/RACE participated in a design competition for Al Mal Speculative Office Tower. The competition entry was well received by the Jury and the Owner.
The design was able to respond to diverse and some times conflicting needs.

Since zoning for this particular area in Kuwait does not stipulate a Liwan, the tower springs out of its base through a reflective pool that reinforces its slim, non-conventional appearance.
To reflect Al-Mal’s dynamism and its recent thrust into speculative office towers, the concept of the blossoming bud was introduced where the thin curtain wall symbolizes the leaves of the blossoming rose.

Le Meridien Bnaid Al-Qar – Kuwait
Le Meridien Bnaid Al-Qar – KuwaitThe 110 room boutique hotel is located in Bnaid Al-Qar immediately on the Al-Sharq Waterfront with 270 degree open views that extend from Kuwait Towers to Ras Al-Salmiya. In order to maximize its sea view, only 7 rooms were planned in each floor where 104 of them enjoy the breathtaking waterfront.
The 20 story building includes all day dining facility, a rooftop specialty restaurant, a large conference center and banquet hall and a central court housing the swimming pool and health club.

The curvilinear form and the tension created between various masses have resulted in a unique design that is sympathetic to the sinuous waterfront of Kuwait extending all the way from Salmiya to Water Towers.

Amlak El Deira Hotel, Bnaid Al-Qar - Kuwait
While main view to the Bnaid Al-Qar waterfront is unfettered to both, East and North, the long and thin site of 25x42 m with 3M setbacks on both sides leaves only 19 M wide sliver of land for development.
Despite the small size, shape and orientation of the property, 01 managed to create a functional, landmark hotel for Amlak Al-Deira Real Estate Co.

80 rooms having full view to the waterfront are stacked in 16 floors over the Ground floor, dedicated to Lobby, Lounges and Reception, a First Floor dedicated to All Day Dining and a Mechanical Floor.
The 20th Floor is dedicated to a panoramic rooftop specialty restaurant.

Al - Khalid Residential Tower, Salmiya - Kuwait
Located in eventful Salmiya waterfront area of Kuwait, the project blends contemporary architecture with classical grace. Project is designed to have presentable facade all-around using vernacular elements with contemporary manifestation. Project towers 15 floors with 2 upscale 3 bedroom apartments of 180 sqm on each floor with top two floors housing exclusively accessed grand Penthouse of 750 sqm. The penthouse is provided with private swimming pool and dumbwaiter.

The Ground floor includes common amenities like Gymnasium, swimming Pool and Reception The 3 meter level difference in the plot is utilized to provide easy access to lower ground level parking. The Result is a unique upscale residence for those seeking excellence, sea view and location.

The development of a multi use complex, located in Sharq area, measures 5,000 m2 in plot area. The site enjoys a prime location and has an uninterrupted aspect of Kuwait bay and close to the financial area.
