Very good photos, and niceold buildings: I find the wooden houses particularly interesting.

Very nice.

I always wanted to go to Siberia at one point in my life.
I think that Russia and especially Siberia are underestimated.
One should keep in mind that the woods in Siberia alone are as big as the whole of the US

Tomsk architecture

Thank you for taking the time to capture the wonderful architecture in Tomsk. I have a penpal there and I will send her the link. I "Googled" the city name and your images showed up.

I did not have these images in my mind when I think of Siberia. The architecture has a specific style through the city. As always the buildings in Russia are colorful. Many "tourist" spots to visit and enjoy.

I just signed up to this site so I will go explore.

Thanks again!
Dasvidania!

A small and quiet city. Apparently this city has a lot of students. Most of the citizens are well educated, warm and polite.

Looks nice, but aren't there any cozy squares or pedestrian areas in the city? I've been to St Petersburg which is utterly beautiful - but not very intimate.

Can Tomsk be categorized as European city geographically?

Uh, the clothes that they wear seem a bit old fashioned? But it is interesting to learn how European Russian culture influence Siberia...the city also seem fairly wealthy?
