We still hold the British record attendance for a league match (Rangers, circa 118,000 IIRC), and i'd love to recover that type of capacity and have a huge ground again, Nou Camp-esque in the sheer size of it, if not quite in the design of it!

My mate Dave is getting pretty pissed off that I always get to see Norwich City play while he just has to wander around the shops all afternoon. I've asked Delia to put another deck-chair up for him but she says she can't afford it at the moment.

Seriously though, Norwich could easily take in 30,000 every home match. We should have a stadium with that kind of capacity. We get more in on average than Ipswich.

On another note, Leeds have now sold out every single away league game for 3 and a half seasons straight, and tickets are only available to season ticket holders or those who paid Ken Bates' £35 members tax. 6,700 sold for Barnsley away on Tuesday

Then again, let's swap boards and ticket prices and see who's ground really is too big for whom!

Ok, 6700 is a remarkable figure for an away game don't get me wrong, but Barnsley is only 20 something miles away from Leeds...so it's hardly too much of a burden.

Wednesday usually fill out the away end at Barnsley, and come close to doing it at most grounds.
We took 1,294 down to Plymouth the other week so IF Sheffield United are struggling to sell 2,700 I find that laughable considering when we last played Leeds we took 5,800 |

I was just checking the Middlesbrough website and noticed that Sheffield United took a whopping 724 to the Riverside in August. It was on the TV, so I can understand a smaller following. We play Middlesbrough in a couple of weeks and it's on TV too. Sold five and a half thousand tickets
