Talk of it leaning is stupid.
When they were constructing the Petronas Towers they realised one of the towers was out of alignment by less than 10mm. This they thought was a huge issue. In the end they compensated and offset the higher floors. There was a 1hour documentary on the construction that this was mentioned in. Do you really think Burj Dubai could lean by as much as "it looks" in that photo (10-20metres) and they would still be building it!!! We've had explanations (with diagrams) as to the reason for the optical illusion so now let's get back on topic... maybe some construction pics would help ;-)

It sais: Construction site Dubai
That Dubai is one big construction site at the moment becomes clear because of the vast amount of cranes in the city. At the left the outlines are visible of the Burj Dubai, which, with more than 750 meters must become the highest building in the world.

^ Looks like STR has some time on his hands!

Awesome as always STR! I love that ESB comparison. The normally New York skyline dominating ESB looks so short compared to the Burj. Crazy.

I can't wait until the day when we're drawing comparison diagrams of the Burj against some other super tall, with the Burj looking like the ESB does right now.

STR stands for amazing.
If the real thing looks like that when its built, this will be the greatest tower in the history of mankind.

Is this render more accurate? I noticed the longer antenna as the tower structure ends with smaller sections at the top.

Based on several independant sources, the model is within 2% accuracy in all dimensions.

In other words, the building will not be more than 2% wider or thinner, taller or shorter. The spire is 808m, matching information from Arabtec and BeSix.

BTW I'd like to brag that I pegged the height of the tower months ago before the 808m figure became public.

If my memory is right, just a month ago, you were insisting on UAE section that anyone hoping for taller then 705 meter would be up for a big disappointing.

OK Guys. Stop. This is just a Lens Distortion effect. The tower is perfectly right. If you doubt on the capacity of a professionnal construction team specialized in building highrises to make a clean vertical wall, I bet you never take a car or plane .

'Don't Panic!'

EDIT: sorry. Was already closed. Anyways, there's at least a link to an explanation...
