Yep.

It'd be quite off-pissing spending money going up to the observation deck and once up there realising you're only half way up the tower. Apparently there'll be a club at level 140 or so.

Anyway, if it does turn out to be at 500m or so them the burj al alam skydeck will be the one to go to since it's got a fully outdoor 360 degree view, should be cheaper since it's not the tallest, will have a great view of the creek and should still be about 450m up.

Hope it will rise even faster when the floor plate gets smaller and the tower goes higher.

Dubai authorities should really start to enhance the green in the city. I mean look at all the desert sand. What is that hideous building in the pics?

The Burj looks really nice during the night even if it is finished lol
No glass contractor still?! Why? This will delay the project!! I mean they have already covered like 5-6 floors with glass for the WTC in Shanghai!

SWFC is supposed to be finished earlier anyway.

u were complaining about the 100Bn Dhs spent on Al Bawadi, but want them to enhance green in a desert city, which is already quite green seen from ground.

http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/6168/bdwsts4di.jpg
and u r forgetting one thing:

the whole photos shows the Burj Dubai square kilometre which is UNDER CONSTRUCTION , so that is why there is no green.

WM I'm sure they have a schedule and they will start installing the glass whenever they have reached a certain stage. Not all towers put on the glass at the same stage, also they can't put glass on the bottom 7 or 8 floors because that's where the podium will be and they haven't built it yet.

If they ad to it, it can end up looking like this.

They also did it to the big red building next to US7

It will be a big deal to you then.

thanks str. amazing pumping that concrete to 575m high. so far highest concrete structures are 450m high CN Tower (top 100m is antennae structure) , 420m chimney in Ekibastuz.
any other concrete structures 400m+?
