There's been only one double height floor, the concourse level, so far. The machinery levels, which are 5m high, are 5m over the entire floor.

The photos seem to show 5m, but whatever. I'll have to double check. If they are 4.7m, then that's only a loss of 3m over the entire height of the building.

nah, just the single ones. The board on the site has its floor height and it was 50 floors weeks ago. it has since moved up at least 4 floors. hopefully we will get an update soon so i can show ya.

A high resolution render of the old design. While not very helpful, it shows considerable facade details, including showing that the banding will cover 3 floors, not just the really high floors.

it is just the render, like STR has said, it is the old version.

John can u try to edit it so that it looks like the recent design?
we have the very same render, but smaller, with the current top.

What a wonerful age we are in,to where skyscrapers like this are being built. It's almost like SCI FI. And the SWFC is impressive too. But this one is unreal!!!!! And having the net to see the daily progress is such a blessing. KUTGW guys.

Ok, my 4.7m figure was wrong, so to clarify things, here's the real deal from DOKA:

Height: 810 m (approx.)
Floors: 147
Steps: 180
Step Heights: 3.20 m / 3.50 m / 3.70 m / 4.00 m

can somebody confirm on what's built already:
L16, L39 should be 4.80 m,
L40/41 together 5.30 m

Further up there's more to come above 4.00 m...

to me it looks like the DOKA heights are more related to the habitable floors. on the diagram however there are floors with the "odd" heights, they look like they are mechanical floors, i.e plumbing, machine rooms etc

A step is one full rise of the formwork. Usually one step=one floor, but a single floor may have more than one step, or three steps may be used to form two floors, etc.
