Velocity could always just implement the permission which exists for Hanover House, unless it only has outline approval. Its been so long I cant remember...

I had wondered about that. Don't planning permissions expire if they're not used within three years anyway? Or will the demolition of the old car dealership count as starting the building?

Here we have an area that is going to be dominated by Velocity Tower on a neighbouring site, and the alignment and effect of City gate, Velocity tower and Hanover are going to combine to set a new skyline for this area.
Pictures of each of these projects in isolation give the wrong impression in my view.

Frivolities over, is this indeed called Hanover Gate? If so, what (if anything) is Hanover House, and what is the Eden apartments?

Axis designed Hanover *Gate*, so yeah, Bersamim does have something to do with it.

Hanover house was just us getting the names muddled, and Eden apartments is a development just behind Hanover Gate.

I always thought that the road was called Hannover Gate but actually it seems to be Hannover Way.

I'm old enough to remember them building that. Jesus!
