Don't worry about it. Velocity are going to rescue us from the horrors of pay and display. Have faith. There'll be something shooting up on this site faster than you know it.

Possibly.

Pay and Display, or pay fuck all to park in Waitrose. Hmmm, choices, choices....

You will not be doing that kind of trick for much longer. I have noticed that many free carparks are becoming remote controlled.
What happens is at the entrance and exit, they place CCTV cameras and log every car in and out. In this way anyone who stays more than 2 hours in a supermarket gets a fine.

The latest one I saw was at KFC at woodseats near my house.

Waitrose had one of the private comapnies patrolling the car park the last time I went shopping there - these private companies don't normally take any crap and clamp/fine offenders.

Fortunately i was never any longer than two hours :-D And out of courtesy, I would at least buy something from Waitrose if I was in town for a long period of time. When I first came to Sheffield back in 2002 for an open day, I missed the turning for the station car park so parked at McDonalds in Farm Road all day. Bought a bite to eat when parking up and had a meal before I went home, so not being completely unreasonable!

Dont know if its been said but we know they did this on Broad St, yes it took a while but it got there eventually. They will just fancy making a few quid before all is approved, which could be months.
