I was fortunate to see it a couple of years ago. It is such an incredible place. It was great walking around the area. You could really feel the sense of history. It's epic to say the least.

The Great Wall of China was built for military purposes and only military purposes. In the beginning the wall was made mostly from dirt and other raw materials. After some time wall made with coated by stones, bricks, and granite blocks, making a neat, sturdy long-lasting wall.
