A better comparison would have been Old City Hall vs. the Buffalo City Hall

But here it is:

my dad said when he was in school(iroqouis in elma) he took a fieldtrip to buffalo city hall. the tour guide said a man tried to commit suicide off it once. the man jumped off, and landed on a flag pole above the building entrance. the pole went right through his stomach.

Buffalo's city hall observation deck is open every weekday. Toronto's city hall observation deck is only open during the 2-day Doors Open event every year.

I gotta go with the scandinavian modernism on this one, but it's awful close. I could slide either way.
