If I had to guess I'd say around the Pico-Union area, or possibly Lincoln Heights.
It looks very San Fransisco-ish too, wonderful pic that dosen't look anything like what I've seen in LA.

I don't think that's Lincoln Heights. KCgridlock (photographer) was traveling west.

Since a lot of that area looks like this, I hope we will see more of that density with 6 story apartment buildings and low-rises or something in that area.

Hsi Lai Temple
went here a few days ago. pritty interesting, though it was a bit more plastic then i had hoped for. and i felt mighty strange walking around taking pictures of a working church with people praying but here we go
