Well this is the plan of the Sofia subway-the red line should be completed by 2011-2012,thus connecting the 2 biggest commieblock neigbourhoods(both with 150k inhabitants) and the airport with the city centre

The New York Subway map, with the advantages of the present Map (colour coding) and the diagrammatic design of Beck's Tube map combined. Includes the future #7 extension:

An older map of my hand, showing the desired 2020 situation, with #7 extension, SAS, Fultron St. Transit Ctr. and new South Ferry terminal station:

Finally, the same map, but this time showing the 1967 situation. As you can see, quite some lines have disappeared since:

Thank you! I have just come from a trip to Egipt. The only metro network in Africa is quite good but still too short for the 3rd biggest city in the World.

Too bad my Russian stinks.
For the rest: dream on about all those dashed lines - Russia simply doesn't have the money to build them.

Nevertheless it is good to have a huge planned network even if a city has to wait for decennies to see it built, so that every works in the city is planned taking into account the further expansion.
