Yeah this is an awesome building, in most other cities in the world it would be the biggest, tallest, bestest, but not in Hong Kong because its just another really really tall building.

Problem with trying to get decent pics of the really tall buildings in HK is that there's so many of them its hard to get a clear shot. The Centre also gradually changes colour (except at 8 o'clock when it does a massive light show) like a chamelion all night, to look at such a big building lit up like that is a REALLY impressive sight.

Nice pics btw, hope you enjoyed Hong Kong. I sure miss it.

Those are pretty decent photos considering it's from a cell phone.

The pics are ok. The Centre still has the best lighting effect in HK. In fact it's the first one to have such effects.

How many seconds it lasts to see all the colors??
BTW: The quality of the pics isn't very good, but it's the first time I see al the colors in one thread.

Usually it's 3-4 second per color change. Sometimes though the building creates a light show like having the colors dance up and down

The Centre's special (accelerated) light show coincides with the Symphony of Lights performance every night at 8pm.

The Symphony of Lights takes place every night at 8pm. It lasts for about 20 minutes and the skyscrapers shine in different colours and lasers. The Centre would accelerate its colouring sequence as part of the show.

The fireworks are added on special occasions but the lasers and lights are part of the daily show.
