[COMPLETED] Ang Mo Kio Avenue 6 redevelopment

Wonder if this thread is appropiate. heh.

The site is at junction of AMK Aves 1 & 6, facing Bishan Park.

The huge redevelopment has:

Five 30 storey towers
One 21 storey tower
Two 20 storey towers

Built on the site of Blocks 307 and 308, which had been abandoned for nearly a year and recently demolished. Prior to demolition, it was very dirty and dead.

I'm scheduled to move in n around 2010. ^_^

The towers are very close to each other!!!

Just by building higher can solve this problem.

It's still not as congested as those under construction at Membina near Tiong Bahru Plaza.

omg, the view will be unbelieveable. it will look over Bishan all the way down to the skyline, covering Toa Payoh cluster, Newton condo cluster, Orchard, and finally the CBD...

I think the whole Ang Mo Kio New Town is affected by height restrictions imposed by Seletar Airbase.

On the rare occasion, we have planes landing passing by AMK.

Impressive, makes me all the more proud to be an Ang Mo Kio-nian.

How many 30 storey blocks does Singapore have anyway?

Well can start by identifying where you can find 30-storey HDB blocks in Singapore.

Toa Payoh
Ang Mo Kio
Queenstown
Redhill
Lavender
Tiong Bahru
Towner

where else....
