Are they gonna put a park around the monument as well? ala Rizal Park, then SRP will look like Roxas Boulevard

i have no idea but i hope it will be like the rizal park so it would complement the jogging lane in the area.. it would surely be a good place to relax after burning some extra calories..

Flyover junction near AsiaTown IT Park

The space below the flyover has been landscaped just like the flyover in Cebu Business Park. I hope the two flyovers in Mandaue will also be beautified. As of now, the flyovers in Mandaue are very dusty and full of vendors below but eventually they will be rehabilitated in time for the ASEAN Summit.

Eight lane avenue at the Mandaue Reclamation.

Six-lane Sergio Osmena Avenue in North Reclamation. This avenue connects the Mandaue Recla and the South Road Properties via the subway tunnel. If the area where this avenue is located will be further developed with the sprouting of hotels, offices and condominiums, it will surely look like Roxas Boulevard (especially too if the International Port will relocate in Cordova). As of now, only SM Sheraton Hotel, SM City Mall, and other buildings stand proud along the avenue.

Gorordo Avenue lined with centuries old Acacia Trees.

When the Marcelo Fernan Bridge was completed, its center span was the longest in the world for a Cable-stayed bridge (forgot the correct name of the type of the bridge).

I think he's buried at the Osmena Cemetery just near the Cuenco-Manguerra Mausoleum (near North Recla).. Maybe they have a plan to transfer his remains to a park dedicated to him at the SRP.

hi arnoldsa,
is there some kind of map showing the connection of all the expressways (more than 2-lane, like german "autobahn") from south of metro cebu to north, out of town, and possibly over to mactan ?
