Bits of it are terrible, mostly the ones shown in my picts, but oh the whole I still quite like it, although the 7 I gave it was to high thinking about, it's still only half finished you know? The 4 phase is starting now.

And given that it was just a world war II bomb site/car park before...

Why start a new thread on it?

Are you a bit of an idiot?

Because most of the votes on the last thread were on the tower renders, the final tower has now been uncovered and, it is not the same.

Its appauling, badly detailed, cheaply built rubbish, whats good about it???? The render will no doubt stain and then what? I can't believe how this can be built in the city centre, It evokes no sense of pride atall. I hope its surrounded by better buildings to hide this eyesaw. Another comment the windows seem very mean to me, for a supposidly high class residential project , then again whats there to look at in Birmingham? apart from the countryside beyond.

I am quite in agreement that the architecture is poor, the execution of it is bad, I just didn't like the snotty remark at the end of your post.

Concrete, trees, buildings, benches, water, humans, insects, birds, paint ... pretty obvious really. If you go into the countryside you might find horse shit, but im sure it'll be nothing special to you considering it flows from your mouth like beer does from a pump.

It looks like a prison. The glass bit on top is OK, but the rest of the complex is not much better than the god-awful 1960s concrete blocks. I certainly wouldn't want to live in it. It'd be depressing to have to come home to it. That blue one is much nicer.

Thats the Holloway Circus Tower. Over 120 metres tall and a lot curvier on the front and with that fantastic design, it makes a fantastic impact on the skyline. A real credit to the Birmingham skyline and list of buildings but if you want an even better apartment, wait til the circular, iconic Rotunda has been finished and lavish in the pride of being based in one of the greatest buildings the 1960's has produced.

Sorry guys I had to put "2". Can not believe such building was designed/approved/built. Think Birmingham deserves better quality buildings - like this one on a foreground for example. Hope they don't damage it.

That's hilarious, the simile at the end was just exquisite!
