HOWEVER...I deducted at least a point for the way the tower curves inward towards the roof; that, along with whatever is on the roof, gives the top section of an otherwise crisp and elegant tower a creepy, almost organic feel - like the mouth of a worm or eel - and the metal spikes on the roof, if that's what they are, look like teeth **ugghh!**</td></tr>
</table>
Yep. I agree. 7/10

It towers into the sky, and appears to go on for ever...

Fantastic in height, really bland and uninspiring in design. Not sure exactly why I haven't warmed up to this tower other than I find it mundane overall.

A rather "dull" new tallest for a city as magnificent as HK. Shame on Pelli IMO.

It's a little too sterile and "perfect" looking for my taste. Pelli sure knows how to design perfectly symetrical buildings. The height is definitely on its side, though. Anything that tall is just jaw dropping. And i must say it goes well with the skyline. Can't wait to see US7 rise on the other side of the harbour. Doing some math i just figured each floor is like 15 feet tall. Man thats massive. Why so much room?

Overall an 8/10

Its interesting you pointed that out, especially about the height. Take a look at its shorter cousin, 1IFC (to the right):

Would everyone be giving similar allocades about 1IFC's design? Will be interesting to find out yah?
