What's the status on the L Tower? I've heard so little about it.

Do you have renders of the sound stages? This is the office complex that will serve as an entrance to it, correct?

I believe this new design is the entrance building....here are some earlier renderings of the film studio complex itself...from Torontoist website....there may be an Alsop building as part of this as well, not sure...

Yonge & Gerrard. The proposal for 75 storeys was rejected by city hall but they are curently settling for a new approval height.

Because gay people have large d*cks and don't need to compensate with large buildings.

Maybe the city is very straight and small d*cked, and they weren't happy with the building being only 75 floors, and told them not to come back till it was over 100 floors.

On a serious note, the rejected AURA design was a pleasant surprise. It is strong, powerful, and a departure from what Toronto usually builds (sophisticated and elegant). There is nothing timid or delicate about it. It would have been a very welcome addition. The upper 20 odd floors really pulls the whole concept together well. It has the same aura of confidence and permanence as old bank buildings elicit. Too bad it's rejected.

Here is a nice compilation of current activity by Maldive of SSP:

I have removed the image at Maldive's request - there is a link to the compilation in my next post of this thread.
