Well we didn't lose the whole project, just the base. The new rendering hasn't been released yet.

I was in TO (for the first time, other than stopovers) over T-Giving...and I have fallen in love with it. The vibe at Yonge & Dundas was so captivating...Bloor was a blast to shop along; we had a really fun time!!!! We stayed with my partner's Aunt & Uncle in Thornhill, and we both did not want to leave.

Cumberland Terrace is another winner!!!!

I am anxious to see the Uptown completed...as well as 1 Bloor and Aura...the new cluster in this area will be magnificent!

Now that Dubai is (finally) slowing down... Toronto is leaving behind its "boring" but tasteful/enduring aesthetic in favour of Dubai-lite.

From Urban Toronto. ICE condos.

Great rendering! looks like these developments will have a huge impact on the density of the area from street level...but i also cant wait to see the massive toronto skyline from the west when they are completed!

If I had emotions, I would cry...tears of joy of course...

One of the best aspects of these developments is that they will detract from the nasty concrete jungle that dominates the area now...

He should be congratulated. Those took an awful lot of work and seem very accurate. Torontonians know how many major towers are going up in Bloor-Yorkville and many have envisioned what it will look like in 3 years. It really is transformational and almost unrecognizable.

From a small collection of towers to a cluster that makes one feel like you're still in the CBD. This is going to change Toronto. We'll have the traditional CBD and now another major cluster 2 km north which promises to grow ever larger and taller. Now the people in the CBD will have a skyline to look at instead of having us gazing only at them. It will be a strange sight. Many people near the CBD will be looking north and wondering: is that the downtown, or is this the downtown?

Hell, I wouldn't be suprised if they added "view of midtown" and "view of cbd" to the mls search preferences. I mean, I personally find it a lot more intriguing than staring at open water (Lake Ontario)
Elliot, those renderings make me feel so warm and fuzzy!

Wow... look at Yorkville grow! The redevelopment they are doing along Bloor street will compliment these projects nicely. This area is going to be wonderfully busy when the towers are complete; should be some lively streets with the influx of people.

Gorgeous shot. I'm glad that our highrise construction just keeps on moving along, in contrast to many other cities which have had some signature towers canceled or postponed.

yes, knock on wood....hopefully all the projects already underway will get completed, and hopefully those that are substantially sold but not yet underway, like 1 Bloor and Aura, will go ahead...

as for new projects next year, I think a lot of them will be put on hold..although the new Gansevoort Hotel/Condo at 306 Richmond seems to be going ahead...

RBC has done a great job redesigning their entrance. The columns and new sidewalk look fabulous. I wish the street lamps we see in the CBD and depicted in that photo above were standard throughout the city. The street lamps in front of the ROM are beautifully designed as well. Both are so much cleaner and sophisticated than the cheap ones with the exposed wires.
