Great pics!
Question...I read/heard that Malmö was a bit rundown (how do you call it) town in Sweden. How is it now? Is it booming or what? Is there maybe a positive impact from the Turning Torso (god do I hate that name but the building is wauw!)? |

But yes, Malmö is booming, not thanks to Turning Torso - thanks to the Öresund Bridge to Copenhagen. Turning Torso itself is a result of that too, and now there are plans for more 200m+ skyscrapers in Malmö.

Great pictures. Are these two cities really that united. Is it similar to Detroit/Windsor? Plus, how different are the two languages?

samsonyuen> the Øresund region is just like the Niagara region... 2 cities in 2 different countries, part of the same region, connected by 1 (or more) bridges...
Danish, Swedish and Norwegian are all very similar languages... it's generally easy for a swede to understand danish (and the other way around). In writing it's almost identicle, but pronounciation or accent-wise it's pretty different. I guess you can sort of compare these 3 languages to American english and Jamaican english..

Great photos everyone, I'll post some later on.
By the way, the Copenhagen-Malmö region is home to a total of 3.65 million inhabitants, not 3.0 million.
