I think, according to statistics, New York, Miami, and Chicago are the leads. Though I believe that is a little misleading. The NY and Chicago booms are more likely in the city itself; whereas the Miami boom that most refer to, and the one I am proud of, is more of the whole metro area. So, that said, hard to tell.

miami and las vegas seem to be experiencing astounding growth upward right now. almost all of it is condos too. those two are seeing the best growth in my opinion.

Hah! Ask the same question in 6 to 9 months, and you'll have the answer...$120 Billion investment in the next ten years for New Orleans (90% private, 10% public)...I doubt it will be topped. But, we deserve it, anyway.....

sorry but according to the current updates las vegas lags pretty far behind the tops are::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Miami, new york ,and chicago

There are several Boom Cities in America right now, notably NYC, Chicago, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Miami, San Diego, Phoenix, Bay Area.

In terms of mid sized cities, we in Baltimore have $4 Billion in projects under construction and in the works. That's a good pace for a city of this size. There are tower cranes everyplace.
