Kuwait Trade Center a new Landmark in Kuwait’s Downtown that rises to a height of approximately 218 meters , designed as a 45 storey twisted curtain wall tower with a glazed metal crown on top.

The podium consists of 4 levels of retail shops and health club with swimming pool. The roof of the podium is a landscaped leisure deck. The tower has an attached multi story car park for about 200 cars. The total site area is approximately 4,300 square meters, and the total built up area is about 30045m2.

The building will include state of the art systems for a total smart building. Project is estimated to be completed in June 2007. The project cost is estimated to be 62 million KD.

im guessing sun's heat above 50 degrees, the workers work in the shade,, im not sure though ;S

You mentioned it! The shade is probably to allow the concrete to effectively settle without the maxiumum heat--since it releases large amounts of energy as it sets and solidifies. Also, some admixtures might have been added which releases more heat than "usual," but the shade sort of cools down the temperature of the affected area. Maybe.
