very nice renders and 'predicted' skyline pics from ten... but could u please explain how u got the shape or style of central chidlom? has it beeen released? and is it a GREEN LIGHT to build? or is that just ur own imagination? because if that actually is the project, then it is amazing!!!! very very beautiful tower.

Orienthai - What an amazing post - I have fallen a bit behind on viewing this thread. You have posted/projected six (?) new projects onto the Bangkok skyline? (As my thoughts are focusing on the completion of The Park at this time, I have been distracted).

Guys - are there URL's for these projects?

I think what will rise here is a "only" 40 Storey Ritz Carlton or St. Regis Hotel.

i think before that how they'll build 85 storey with set-back code from the site i seen... but ok 40 storey is good more than no notting
and chad, do you know how many towers they will have? 3 towers?

hope design will be masterpiece

thats really expensive for a 40 storey hotel in an area inundated by luxury hotels.

I hope they have a plan to get some decent returns from such a large investment.

do you think the hotel is perhaps only the first phase?

It's the one and only phase I'm affraid.

They will featuring an "on ground" swimming pool which will be clearly visible from Central Chitlom Tower.

The hotel pointed to be the most luxurious hotel in Asia.

sad that they wont build the 85 storeys version. I still hope they will put up a nice building there even at half the size.

i think Central Group has to save some capital if they really want to build the Thailand's tallest at the Suan Lum plot.

yes, the height doesn't really bother me. I think the design of the building should be brilliant.

Well, Central is run by a group of smart people. I hope they know what theyre doing. The total development cost could run upwards of 7 Billion Baht. It's going to take a long time to break even.
It will be intereseing to see a luxury hotel like The Oriental and The Peninsula in the middle of the city instead of the riverside as we are used to.

If they build that they are forgiven for the decreased height

I don't mind a controversial building (like the robot tower), as long as it's unique and inspiring.
