Very impressive. I had no idea Manila had so many highrises. I would love to visit. It does look much like a modern American city.

Can you post any shots of the old Manila Hotel? How about the Presidential Palace and other historic sites?

The demand is not affected by the high oil prices. Besides, the government is cutting tax on oil imports just to lessen the burden of the skyrocketing value of oil. Our inflation is steady at 6-7%.

When I went in 2004 I stayed at The old Manila Hotel, it's so beautiful. I love Manila, there's so much happening and I love the Makati city. Manila Bay Was nice, but poluted.
From actual being in the city the only bad thing is the air pollution, but I love philipine people aswell, very kind. My room was over looking trhe golf course next to Rizal Park.
